Green Innovation Talks with Mr Banks is a weekly series with key players and entrepreneurs within various sectors in the Green Economy space engages in expository conversation with Mr Bankole Oloruntoba (CEO, NCIC), entertaining questions in the line of the foregoing conversation, stimulating climate-smart innovations and providing standard guidelines to developing a sustainable business model among the increasing audience.
ClimateLaunchPad is the world’s largest green business idea competition.
It’s mission is to unlock the world’s cleantech potential that addresses climate change. The competition creates a stage for those ideas. ClimateLaunchPad is part of the Entrepreneurship offerings of EIT Climate-KIC.
G-FIVE stands for Green Females In Venture Enterprises. The event was held in celebration of the International Women’s Day. The G-FIVE is an event set-up to generate awareness, identify and network with Women in the Green Economy Ecosystem, for the purpose of increasing participation of women in space. The event is also a master-class to understanding how to “Unlock Investment Opportunities by Empowering Women in The Green Space”.
This is a 5-Month Incubation Program financed by Allon in collaboration with Nigerian Climate Innovation Centre as a technical partner. This is a platform to fine-tune business ideas into a comprehensive scalable business model by applying customer development principles in a real-life exercise and learn practical easy-to-implement techniques that will reduce risks of business failure.
Afterwards, viable businesses that fulfil all the given criteria of the incubation program will receive a grant funding of $10,000.
The Nigeria Climate Innovation Center emerged as a beacon of hope, a collaborative effort between the World Bank and the Federal Government of Nigeria under the visionary leadership of the Office of the Vice President in 2018.
